Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), the COTA will provide therapeutic care to patients in their homes. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising OT.

  Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Educate patients and caregivers on appropriate home exercise programs.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the OT.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).

  
  


• 
  

  Valid state licensure to practice as a COTA.

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in home health or a similar setting preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  CPR certification.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
