Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist

Our client is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist (CHT required).

About the Role:

• Join our client advance clinic (opening May 2025), partnering with renowned hand surgeons.
• Professional development opportunities include an AOTA-accredited hand fellowship.
• Work collaboratively with other CHTs at our facility and Woodlands Rockets Orthopedics Hospital.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas OT license and Basic Life Support certification.
• CHT certification required.
• Experience in evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of advanced occupational therapy techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement advanced OT treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, and insurance companies.
• Document patient care effectively and efficiently.
• Supervise assistants and support staff.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor.
• Contribute to departmental planning, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in committees and task forces.
• Present educational in-services and contribute to professional literature.
• Provide compassionate and personalized patient care.
