Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapist)

We’re hiring an Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapist) to provide specialized outpatient hand therapy services. This role focuses on treating complex upper extremity conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and injury recovery while delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals
• Fabricate and fit custom orthoses and splints as needed
• Provide post-operative care, injury rehabilitation, strengthening, and wound care
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve functional outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and clinical staff
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience in hand therapy or upper extremity rehabilitation required
• CHT certification preferred (or willingness to work toward certification)
• Strong clinical reasoning, manual therapy, and splinting skills
• Excellent patient communication and documentation abilities
