Occupational Therapist I: Per Diem Days, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center Inpatient

Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate per diem Occupational Therapist to join our award-winning team at Morristown Medical Center's inpatient Rehab Department. We are seeking candidates who have experience in a large acute inpatient hospital, are used to a fast-paced environment, and have an interest in orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary populations. We prefer candidates who have acute care/inpatient experience who can work various days and two weekend days per month.

What your day might look like? 

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans based upon evidenced based practice.


• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab team members.


• Communicate with patients and families.

Principal Accountabilities:

Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. 

Required:

1.  New Jersey License to practice Occupational Therapy.
2.  Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy academic program

Preferred:

1.    Experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting.
2.    Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health.
