Job Description - Occupational Therapist - Outpatient (Days)


Summary:

  • Location: West Branch, MI

  • Shift Schedule: 8 hrs per day; 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Weekend Requirements: yes

  • Shift Type: Days




Requirements:

  • BLS - Basic Life Support - Within 1 month of hire or transfer

  • NBCOT - NB Certification in Occ Therapy

  • OTR - Occupational Therapist

  • Bachelors Degree

  • More than 1 year of experience preferred but would be willing for new grad.

  • Interpersonal skills needed for effective verbal and written communication in the English language to interact with people individually and in a group at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating problem solving and organizational skills, time management skills and initiative.

  • Mandatory Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is required and must be completed annually according tothe Exposure Control Plan.

  • Ability to work where employee may be exposed to communicable diseases. Ability to use personal protective equipment correctly.

  • Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to demonstrate and teach selected treatment routines to appropriate professional and non -professional individuals.

  • AOTA membership preferred
