Occupational Therapist PACE (MC-1.0)

At Franciscan, our Occupational Therapists have the special training to evaluate patients and develop a plan to help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Practice Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• No Weekends, Evenings, or Holidays

• Performs comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, treatment and related follow-up services including discharge planning.

• Develops a treatment plan with measurable goals based on patient assessment.

• Completes appropriate goal re-assessment and discharge planning.

• Provides occupational therapy, including selection and use of assistive equipment.

• Trains and educate patients and family members or other support and document understanding of treatment plan and goals.

• Documents and submit patient reports and charges within the established timeframe.

• Collaborates with patient and other healthcare personnel or outside agencies regarding coordination of care.

• Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Techs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree- Occupational Therapy - Required

• Doctorate- Occupational Therapy- Preferred

• Occupational Therapist (OT) License- State Licensing Board- Indiana- Required within 90 Days

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) American Heart Association- Required

• 1 Year Occupational Therapy Experience- Preferred
