Occupational Therapist - School Base - Dynamic Team

Soliant, in partnership with school districts in the Maplewood, NJ area, is currently seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists (OT) for contract positions within school settings. The ideal candidates will possess the necessary educational and licensing requirements, along with at least one year of recent experience in the field. Join our team and contribute to the success and well-being of students.

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid state Occupational Therapist license.
• pletion of a Master's or Doctorate degree program in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing therapy interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic success.
• Providing consultation and training to school staff on strategies for promoting student participation and independence within the school environment.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
