Independence Rehab is proud to partner with Cascades Healthcare in delivering exceptional therapy services at Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, Desert View Care Center in Buhl, and Lincoln Care Center in Shoshone. Independence is currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist who is happy to treat patients in Buhl, Kimberly, and potentially Shoshone.
We need a therapist who is passionate about geriatric care, values strong outcomes, and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative, people-first organization.
Cascades facilities provide patient-centered rehabilitation and 24-hour skilled nursing care, with a focus on individualized treatment plans that enhance each patient's independence and quality of life.

Private and semi-private rooms

Occasionally treat clinically complex patients
Perform and assist with all types of transfers
Provide adaptive ADL re-training
Supervise a COTA
Collaborate closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
If you'd like additional support with any competencies, we are happy to provide training and mentorship.

Competitive compensation package including
Up to $52/hour, depending upon experience

Supportive leadership and a collaborative rehab culture
Current Idaho OT license in good standing
Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population
Ability to supervise a COTA
Preferred:
At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said-if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
