Job Description - Occupational Therapist-adults(Patient's home in Wake County, NC)

Why Join Care First Rehab?

At Care First Rehab, we don’t just provide therapy; we change lives. As a mid-sized organization owned and operated by an Occupational Therapist, we truly "get it." We know that your well-being is the engine behind patient success. That’s why we’ve built a collaborative, 5-star rated environment where your clinical voice is heard, your growth is funded, and your work-life balance is protected.

The Opportunity: Empowering Independence at Home

We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) who thrives on seeing real-world progress. In this role, you aren’t just treating symptoms; you are helping adults regain their dignity and independence in the place they feel most comfortable—their own home. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while being part of a high-energy multidisciplinary team (PT/OT/ST) that has your back every step of the way.

Your Day-to-Day Impact:

  • Meaningful Assessments: Evaluate patients' functional abilities and ADLs in their natural environment to create truly practical treatment plans.

  • Creative Interventions: Use evidence-based techniques to address neurological, musculoskeletal, and age-related challenges.

  • Home Innovation: Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications that turn a house back into a safe, accessible home.

  • Family Partnership: Act as a bridge for families, providing them with the education and resources they need to support their loved ones.

  • True Collaboration: Work side-by-side with PTs and SLPs to deliver holistic, integrated care that actually works.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • The Credentials: A graduate of an accredited OT program with a current state license.

  • The Heart: A genuine desire to work with diverse adult and senior populations.

  • The Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to build trust quickly with patients.

  • The Advantage: Prior experience in home care is a major plus, but a "can-do" attitude is essential!

The Perks (We Value Your Hard Work):

  • Top-Tier Pay: * $55 – $65 per Initial Evaluation (IE)

    • $44 – $50 per Follow-up visit

  • Rewarding Excellence: Annual performance bonuses up to $3,000.

  • 401(K): Retirement planning with matching contributions.

  • On the Road Support: Full mileage reimbursement.

  • Full Security: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Time for You: Generous PTO (Vacation and Sick time) accrual.

  • Focus on Therapy, Not Paperwork: User-friendly, streamlined online documentation system.
