Job Description - Occupational Therapy Assistant

Description

 HTS is currently hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team at two beautiful retirement communities situated in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Both facilities offer independent living, assisted living and memory care. One, located near Cascade and Ada, also offers respite care. The other, located in the Eastown neighborhood, offers skilled nursing and has a 5-Star Rating by CMS. The OTA will treat patients at both facilities. 

• Full time position, 30 – 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday.

• Compensated mileage and drive time for travel between the facilities.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Michigan Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Michigan license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
