Assist customers and field sales personnel in interpreting product specifications and drawings requirements (this presale stage is approximately 40% of the role's time) Manage any customer reported quality issues by submitting a Customer Quality Management (CQM) to the warranty contact at the plant and follow up to ensure timely resolution (15% of this role's time) Develop a knowledge base of product information, help technically train and onboard new engineers on the team Provide external customer training on products, processes, and resources as appropriate Provide back-up for team members (Knowledge of multiple customer requirements) Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution Experience working with switchgear, controls or distribution products Working knowledge of electrical products such as low voltage, medium voltage components and assemblies Position Criteria: Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Exceptional organizational skills required for managing and organizing high volume of transactions (orders, specifications, drawings, technical issues, documentation, and emails) Demonstrate high proficiency in effectively supporting complex orders Develop, maintain and grow relationships with internal and external customers and sales engineers Possess excellent computer and digital tools skills, in addition to a strong work ethic, flexibility and a desire to actively contribute to the group's success Ability to prioritize multiple tasks Occasional travel to plants and customer sites required to effectively interface with NAS and customer engineering teams, and to participate in company-related projects, activities, or other job-related assignments; this will include customer witness tests (joining the customer at the manufacturing plant to energize the equipment and ensure that it is performing as it should before shipping to the customer site) Attention to detail in all aspects of product configuration and pricing disciplines using pricing tools Strong knowledge of competitor capabilities, market conditions, and market channels; be able to share customer intelligence
