Assistant/Administrative,
you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing shipping paperwork, providing customer service, generating quotations, and assisting with billing. This position requires proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to operate copy machines and multi-phone systems. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and maintain a professional appearance in a business casual environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate shipments
Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, responding to emails, and mailing invoices
Generate quotations for customer inquiries, collaborating with management, production team, and sales force as necessary
Process new part orders and provide answers to simple technical questions regarding products and parts
Take sales orders and ensure accurate processing
Schedule freight and coordinate logistics as needed
Assist with billing and invoicing tasks
Qualifications:
Previous office experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to operate multi-phone systems and copy machines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Familiarity with manufacturing environments preferred
Professional appearance with a business casual attire
