Job Description - Office Assistant

We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail..
Responsibilities



  • Answering sales and operator calls

  • Schedule sales appointments for multiple sales reps

  • keeping a weekly count of leads(appts) and opportunities

  • Schedule service appts

  • File warranty claims

  • Data entry of invoices and receipts

  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues

  • Perform receptionist duties when needed

  • Other office tasks as needed


Skills



  • Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role

  • Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems

  • Working knowledge of office equipment

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
