Job Description - Office Assistant

Job Summary

Preferred Care at Home is looking for an office assistant to join our growing team! The right candidate will be organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have a background in customer service with scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

Answer and handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately.

Oversee and maintain staff/client scheduling.

Work as a team member with all company departments in a collaborative effort.

Assist the Director with any necessary administrative tasks.

Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently.

Demonstrate a strong attention to detail with the ability to be highly organized and focused to complete tasks.

Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations.

Ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion.

Adheres to policies and procedures and is flexible to changes in duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

3+ years customer service experience (required)

Proficient in internet-based applications, typing, and Microsoft Office (required)

1+ years experience in scheduling (preferred)

1+ years experience in home care/home health (preferred)

Good interpersonal and analytical skills
