Job Description - Office Assistant


As an Office Assistant, you’ll be a valued part of Fourwinds Lakeside Inn & Marina. This position requires a high level of reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail, as your work plays a key role in maintaining consistent and timely lease accounting. We value someone who is organized, dependable, and committed to delivering precise work.

Fourwinds Marina is the scenic marina destination on Lake Monroe in Bloomington, IN, offering beautiful waterfront views and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a favorite spot for boaters, locals, and visitors to enjoy time on the lake, friendly service, and memorable days by the water.

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Service:
  • Assist boaters with slip inquiries, marketing, and leasing opportunities.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and complete slip lease agreements accurately and professionally
  • Provide clear explanations of marina policies, lease terms, and account details
  • Accept, process, and post customer payments
  • Address customer questions regarding account balances, billing, and services
  • Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to build positive relationships with marina customers
  • Direct customer inquiries or concerns to the appropriate department when needed
  • Accounting & Administrative Support:
  • Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and lease documentation
  • Utilize the marina computer system for customer setup, data entry, scheduling boat launches and retrievals, and reporting
  • Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Ensure accuracy, organization, and confidentiality of financial and customer information

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass a background check.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
  • 9 AM to 5 PM with one weekend day either Saturday or Sunday required, 5-day work week.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience preferred

$18 an hour depending on experience
