We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Akron, Ohio. This role is pivotal in a fast-paced environment and requires a multi-tasker with good computer skills. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
• Managing customer inquiries and providing accurate information
• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Inputting customer information accurately and efficiently
• Handling clerical duties such as filing and matching checks to invoices
• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Outlook, for various tasks
• Assisting in the retail store when needed and providing information about products for DIY
• Managing incoming calls and routing them to the appropriate department
• Maintaining professional correspondence with customers and colleagues.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Demonstrated ability in executing clerical duties with high level of organization
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills for effective correspondence
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service and handle customer queries proficiently
• Experience handling and routing incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
• Prior experience in scheduling and managing appointments and meetings
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
