Job Description - Office Engineer

The Office Engineer is responsible for coordinating and administratively managing projects from start to finish. This is a great entry-level opportunity for new graduates looking to get into the construction industry!


 


Our Office Engineer candidates are eligible for the following departments:


 



  • Preconstruction

  • Project Management

  • Finance

  • Estimating

  • Field Operations


 


Responsibilities:


 



  • Support Business initiatives through data analysis

  • Coordinate with various business units and departments to maximize profitability of the company

  • Provide financial and analytical support to the project management team

  • Analyze project profitability throughout the project lifecycle, and provide findings to project management team

  • Assist project management team with change order management process

  • Act as a liaison between other departments and the project team to fulfill project needs

  • Process information within specific timeframes to maintain efficiency and timeliness

  • Manage workflows to lead and organize all project specific data and attribution to ensure consistent, complete, on-time, and accurate project completion

  • Perform detailed analysis on multiple projects

  • Provide timely and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders

  • Perform project evaluations for document control, scheduling, and compliance

  • Coordinate document control with project accountants

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Ability to schedule projects using Microsoft Project, or willingness to learn


 


Requirements:


 



  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills required

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to travel occasionally


 


Salary:


 



  • $70,000 - $75,000

  • Dependent upon experience
