Job Description - Office Manager

Description

Job Title: Office Manager 

Location: Cumming, GA 

Status: Full-Time 

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 salary 

Focus Forward Counseling is seeking an Office Manager for a growing psychological practice in Cumming. This position will be responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations including management of staff therapists, and administrative personnel. This is a full-time, salaried position. The qualified candidate will have experience managing or working within a mental health practice. Experience with practice management software, phone center software, and similar technologies is a plus.

Office Manager Essential Functions: 

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable 
  • Aging report maintenance 
  • Insurance authorizations, verification of benefits, billing, and collections 
  • Insurance panel credentialing for providers 
  • Payroll 
  • Establishes, secures approval and oversees practice operating policies and procedures 
  • Ensures HIPAA compliance 
  • Maintains strict confidentiality  
  • Front office management activities include intake phone calls and patient outreach 
  • Financial management of administrative costs 
  • Ensure high patient satisfaction throughout the patient experience  
  • Support community outreach and patient acquisition efforts

Office Manager Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Previous experience as an Office Manager 
  • Previous experience working with behavioral health is a strong plus 
  • Minimums include management  experience, billing, customer service, and proficiency with accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Ability to prioritize and execute a number of responsibilities  
  • Integrity and strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Positive energy and ‘can do’  attitude

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with all staff and clients
