Job Description - Office Manager



Position: Office Manager


Compensation: $85,000 annually


Location: Naperville, IL


At Woody Buick GMC, we pride ourselves in being Chicagoland’s best and largest General Motors dealership, committed to unparalleled customer satisfaction and community engagement. We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team and oversee crucial accounting and administrative functions. This pivotal role will ensure smooth operations while upholding our dedication to excellence in customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


 



  • Oversee Office Staff: Manage Biller, License & Title, Cashiers ensuring efficient daily operations.

  • Accounting and Reporting: Handle financial transactions for sales and service, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy in financial records in collaboration with the Comptroller.

  • Administrative Support: Maintain schedules, provide reports, manage document retention, and handle correspondence to ensure office efficiency.

  • Support Department Managers: Foster a positive work environment that enables department managers to focus effectively on operational tasks.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer assistance, promptly address queries and concerns with professionalism to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Review and Maintain Schedules: Ensure effective scheduling and timely completion of tasks.

  • Financial Oversight: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, floorplan, and factory open accounts.

  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage office staff

  • Compliance: Ensure all deals comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Professional Standards: Exemplify professional ethics, morals, and customer service standards.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the office team and department managers to achieve dealership goals.


Qualifications:



  • Experience: Minimum five years in General Motors dealership office.

  • Skills: Familiarity with license and title, sales tax, warranty, billing, and commissions.

  • Attributes: Exceptional customer service and organizational skills, detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.

  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Goal-Oriented: Strong desire to set and achieve goals.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.

  • Requirements: Valid in-state driver’s license, High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
