Position Summary

Colorado West Ear, Nose, & Throat / Audiology & Allergy is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy specialty medical practice. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional communication skills, a commitment to outstanding patient care, and the ability to build a positive, accountable workplace culture.

The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient office operations, supporting physicians and staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence while providing an exceptional experience for every patient.


Requirements

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficiency and excellent patient service.
  • Supervise and support front desk, clinical, audiology, and administrative staff.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate employees.
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance improvement processes.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patient flow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with physicians and leadership to achieve practice goals.
  • Oversee inventory management, vendor relationships, and office supplies.
  • Assist with budgeting, expense management, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Resolve patient concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and accreditation requirements such as MIPS.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of medical office management or healthcare leadership      experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medical office operations.
  • Experience supervising and developing employees.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

  • Experience in ENT, surgical, or specialty medical practices.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, coding, insurance verification, and revenue cycle      processes.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.

Salary Description

$25 - $33 / hour
