Job Description - Office Manager & Accounting

Office Manager / Accounting

An award winning landscape company in the Chicago suburbs is looking for an Office Manager with accounting capabilities to perform a diverse set of responsibilities. If you want out of a rigid corporate environment, this opportunity might be for you!

Responsibilities

Accounts receivable and invoicing
Accounts payable
Payroll
Benefits facilitation
Prepare and maintain various reports (cash, inventory, sales, commission, etc.)
Contract administration
Reconcile bank, AP, AR, and general ledger
Enter journal entries received from Controller
Collaborate and prepare reports for corporate office at month-end and as needed
General office management
Other tasks and responsibilities as needed or assigned
Requirements

Sufficient experience doing AP, AR, and invoicing
Sufficient experience doing payroll and benefits facilitation
Software savvy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
QuickBooks experience
Must be very organized
Must be able to manage a diverse set of responsibilities and wear multiple hats
Have excellent time management skills
Compensation
