We are seeking an experienced and driven Office Manager / Controller to join our leadership team and oversee all dealership accounting and administrative functions.


Position Overview


The Office Manager / Controller will lead the accounting office, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and support daily operational success. This position plays a key role in partnering with the General Manager and ownership to ensure the dealership runs smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee dealership accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and title work




  • Manage deal posting and ensure timely funding and accuracy with lenders




  • Monitor cash flow and maintain proper financial controls




  • Perform month-end and year-end closing processes




  • Produce accurate financial statements and supporting schedules




  • Reconcile schedules, including floorplan, inventory, warranty, and manufacturer statements




  • Track incentive payments and ensure proper reporting to Stellantis




  • Manage office staff, support training, and ensure accountability and efficiency




  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, tax laws, and internal policies




  • Support HR duties, including onboarding paperwork and payroll verification




  • Work closely with the GM and ownership on forecasting, reporting, and budgeting




Qualifications




  • Automotive dealership accounting experience required




  • Minimum 3 years in an Office Manager, Controller, or similar dealership accounting role




  • Strong understanding of CDJR store accounting preferred but not required




  • DMS experience required (Tekion experience is a plus, but not required)




  • Knowledge of lender funding processes, warranty schedules, and manufacturer accounting portals




  • Strong leadership and communication skills




  • Analytical skills with a strong attention to detail




  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment




  • High standard of professionalism and confidentiality
