Everstaff is seeking a Office Assistant for a manufacturing company in the Akron area.
Duties:
- Reception and phone operator duties, answer / transfer / forward calls in a professional manner
- Utilize intercom system
- Greet visitors
- Customer service
- Place, follow up and expedite purchase orders
- Inventory tracking and parts replenishment
- Enter sales orders
- Prepare all shipping documentation and label outgoing shipments
- Data entry
- Logistics –prepare shipments: LTL and UPS
- Communicate with internal vendors
- Generate reports as needed
- Filing
- Office organization
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of general office support experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows based operating systems
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite software
- Entry level typing 25-50wpm
- High attential to detail
