In this role, you will primarily focus on resource and case management, supporting students with special needs in a remote learning environment.
Position Overview:As a Special Education Remote Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with special needs. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a deep understanding of special education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage individualized education programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities:

• Resource Management:Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective resource plans for students with special needs.
• Case Management:Maintain and update individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Instructional Support:Provide remote instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Progress Monitoring:Regularly assess student progress and make necessary adjustments to support plans.
• Parent and Team Collaboration:Work closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success.
• Data Collection:Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Professional Development:Stay current with best practices in special education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Ohio teaching certification in Special Education.
• Previous experience in special education, with a strong focus on resource and case management.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable with remote teaching platforms and technology.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
