Job Description - Oilfield Electric Superintendent
Trueline is seeking a Superintendent to lead their oilfield division near Greeley, CO. This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on professional with deep oilfield experience and the skills to guide crews through the demanding, fast-paced work of upstream site operations.
What You’ll Do as the Superintendent:
Manage day-to-day field operations for electrical crews on active oilfield sites
Lead installation and maintenance of wellhead wiring, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, and automation systems
Interpret and enforce compliance with electrical codes, project drawings, and site specifications
Serve as the primary field liaison to clients, project managers, and general contractors
Oversee labor and material allocation, job schedules, and field reporting
Maintain a zero-incident safety culture, upholding OSHA, NEC, and site-specific HSE protocols
Collaborate on job planning, estimates, and new service opportunities
Must-Haves as the Superintendent:
5+ years of oilfield electrical experience, including team leadership
Active Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician License
Familiarity with oilfield infrastructure: tank batteries, artificial lift, LACT units
Strong working knowledge of NEC, API standards, and Colorado oil & gas regulations
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background and drug screen
Comfortable leading field teams in challenging outdoor conditions year-round
Nice-to-Haves as the Superintendent:
Experience with PLC programming, RTUs, SCADA, or other automation systems
Background in estimating or project planning for oilfield electrical work
Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows)
