About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Kids 'R' Kids Keller as an Older Infant Lead Teacher, where you will nurture and inspire children aged 12-18 months. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for our youngest learners. The hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with 1.5 hour lunch.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promote developmentally appropriate practices.
- Foster a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and provide regular updates to parents.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, and interactive activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets licensing standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- A minimum of 2 years of lead teacher experience in a classroom.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.
- Background check clearance required.
