Location: Lincolnwood, IL (Corporate Office)
Salary: $45,000–$47,000 (based on experience)
Benefits: Full benefits package + reimbursed travel expenses
Travel: Occasional visits to facilities in Illinois and Indiana

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role is based at our corporate office in Lincolnwood, IL, and plays a vital part in ensuring a smooth, respectful, and efficient onboarding experience for new healthcare employees—many of whom are Spanish-speaking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires
• Send and receive background check and work history forms via Adobe
• Conduct background checks and reference verifications
• Launch and manage new hire packets through Paylocity
• Upload, organize, and merge employee documentation
• Enter new employees into payroll systems
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Provide excellent customer service to new employees throughout the onboarding process

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in onboarding or HR, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HRIS/ATS platforms
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365
• Experience in skilled nursing, mental health, or healthcare staffing preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Some college coursework preferred; relevant experience will be considered
