On-Call Housekeeper & Breakfast Service

Description

Hospitality to all species is the central Mission of The Ground. The Housekeeping team is responsible for taking care of the Inn along with other spaces around our large property, as well as assisting with breakfast service to our Inn guests. The housekeeping team is a large part of providing exceptional guest experiences to all species that pass through our campus. 

The On-Call Housekeeper & Breakfast Service role is a great opportunity for someone to join our team on an as-needed basis. Our accommodation occupancy fluctuates based on peak season volume.  

Job Description

• Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.
• Clean and maintain guestrooms, vacation homes, event spaces and offices to property specific standards.
• Clean and replenish designated areas within assigned shift.
• Maintain supplies and organization of housekeeping area.
• Check all rooms and report any damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies.
• Monitor cleanliness of all public areas both inside and out around the property.
• Set up breakfast service for Inn guests to include table set up, breakfast buffet, brewing coffee and tea.
• Warming our breakfast items prepared by Humble Spirit, and serving guests.
• Clear and clean up breakfast service to include tearing down buffet, clean up kitchen, load dishwasher.
• Preparation for the following day’s breakfast service that includes portioning prepared foods.
• Attends staff meetings and training sessions.
• Greets and warmly engages guests.
• Complete tasks as assigned by Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques/chemical applications a plus.
• Desire to work in a multi-faceted, cross-campus, fast-paced role.

Comp: $18-22/hr DOE
