On-Call LPN

Community Hospice of Vidalia is currently searching for full-time ON-CALL LPN to provide end-of-life care to home hospice patients in their last stages of life. Qualified LPNs will be caring, compassionate, and patient and will enjoy providing education and care to both patients and families. Qualified LPNs will communicate well with an interdisciplinary team and will be motivated and self-driven. Position requires travel up to 60 miles from Vidalia. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Does require nighttime driving.

The On-Call LPN is available after hours and every other weekend for afterhours home visits for hospice patients. Primary hours for this position are 4:00PM until 8:30AM. This LPN may work 40 hours in a pay period or may only work 10 hours in a pay period. Due to the nature of the position, this is difficult to predict; however, this LPN is on-call and available, when needed, during the stated hours. This position is ideal for an LPN accustomed to working night shifts or for someone who needs weekdays free.
