On-Call Sub Bus Driver 

Location: 17175 Olympia Redford, MI 48240

The Opportunity: PLA Bus Drivers are responsible for transporting students to and from designated pick-up and drop-off points

The Details:

Key Deliverables:

• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
• Follow assigned bus routes
• Provide a safe transportation environment for all students
• Arrive 30 minutes before route time
• Perform daily inspection of the bus
• Follow procedures to ensure passenger safety
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable
• Weekly fueling of bus
• Maintain awareness of unsafe conditions and avoid injury
• Generally, works 25-30 hours a week
• Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred or GED 
• CDL license and yellow card, required
• No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
• Clean driving record (no traffic citations in the last 5 years)
• Ability to carry out assigned routes on time
