Oncology Nurse Navigator - Medical Oncology Physicians Clinic - Days - MFT

Job Summary: Plans, coordinates, and provides oncology nursing expertise and consultation by overseeing the complete care of the oncology patient. Serves as a professional resource in the areas of scheduling, education, transition and discharge planning. Works closely with physician offices to coordinate services at Memorial Health System. The Oncology Nurse Navigator is also responsible for development and implementation of initiatives to positively impact physician and patient satisfaction. 

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited, state approved school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing

Required Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years recent clinical nursing experience in a hospital, clinic or similar health care setting, with at least Two (2) years in oncology speciality area or case management. 

Required Licensure: Current MS RN license or Multi State Compact License; Certified Oncology Nurse (OCN) preferred
