Athletic Business m agazine ,
a premier B2B publication that covers the athletics, fitness and recreation industries, is looking to fill a full-time Online Managing Editor position. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, detail oriented, have 1-3 years of experience in a related field (journalism, technical writing, marketing) and demonstrate excellent written
and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the athletics, recreation or fitness industries a plus.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Writing news stories for
AB ’s daily newsletter
Keeping the website updated
Interviewing industry professionals as part of writing feature stories for
AB ’s print publication
Assisting in the production of videos and podcasts
Close collaboration with all members of the editorial, production and sales teams
Monitoring and posting to social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Possibility of occasional travel
Ability to gather information and write compelling copy a must.
