We are currently looking for an Online Merchandising Coordinator to join our Merchandising Department during our busy season, and work for BlackFriday.com, a sister site of Retailmenot. This is a temporary role beginning October 1, 2025 through December 5, 2025. The compensation for this role is $25.00 USD per hour.
About the role:
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skill sets that match the merchandising and content management needs of BlackFriday.com. You should have a vast knowledge of brands, and retail trends, and you can sniff out a great deal when you see one. We are looking for a candidate that has an exceptional eye for detail, self-motivation, data-driven, and competence in decision making.
Responsibilities:
Perform live testing for site issues, such as broken links, accurate imagery, product or promotional information, spelling errors, etc.
Execute paid placements with a high degree of accuracy using our proprietary ad server.
Deliver optimized placement management (3rd party discrepancies, optimization, creative updates, offer updates, etc.) throughout campaign lifetimes.
Provide support to the Merchandising team by maintaining QA processes as well as heavy content creation.
Actively support attainment of KPIs & team goals
Develop positive, productive working relationships with a variety of cross-functional partners
Grow expertise within assigned channels and proactively communicate opportunities for optimization.
Strong sense of urgency along with strong organizational and time management skills
Complete availability during October, November (including week of Nov 24-28)
Qualifications:
0-2 years of e-commerce, digital, marketing, or digital publishing company
Passionate about saving consumers money
Strong oral and written communication skills
Agile analytical and problem-solving skill set
Results focused, attention to detail, and efficiently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards to meet the team and/or individual goals
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
Adaptable to change
Knowledge of Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau, and other tools is a plus
Can spot a good deal from 50 feet and love saving money for yourself and others
