Job Title: Online-Hotel Reservationist - Work From Home

Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Online Hotel Reservationist, you will play a key role in assisting customers with their hotel bookings and ensuring they have a pleasant and memorable stay. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to work from home while gaining valuable experience in hotel reservations and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Reservation Management: Assist customers in making hotel reservations via online booking platforms or over the phone, ensuring accuracy and completeness of booking details.
Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on hotel options and amenities.
Booking Processing: Input reservation details into the booking system accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant information is captured and recorded.
Availability Checks: Verify hotel availability for specific dates and locations, assisting customers in finding suitable accommodations based on their preferences and budget.
Upselling Opportunities: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance the customer's hotel experience, such as room upgrades, meal packages, or additional amenities.
Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, working to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, reservations, and communications for reference and follow-up purposes.
Collaboration: Coordinate with team members and hotel partners to facilitate smooth booking processes and ensure customer needs are met.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or training in hospitality or tourism is a plus but not mandatory.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Customer Focus: Genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customers have a positive booking experience.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservation details and customer information.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online booking platforms, reservation systems, and other software applications related to hotel reservations.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to address customer concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiasm for Hospitality: Genuine interest in the hospitality industry and a desire to learn about different hotels, accommodations, and travel destinations.
