Onsite Breast Imager with Light IR | Weekday Schedule | Multi-Specialty Practice - Wilmington, NC

Imagen Technologies, a comprehensive diagnostic imaging provider, is expanding our onsite team with the addition of a full-time Breast Imager with light Interventional Radiology responsibilities in Wilmington, NC. This role involves interpreting screening, diagnostic, and light IR procedures as well as reading general radiology studies within a multi-specialty medical practice. This radiologist will work collaboratively with dedicated surgical oncologists, radiation therapists, and medical oncology teams in a multidisciplinary environment. Role Overview

• Job Type: Full-time - W2 position


• Setting: On-site position in a multi-specialty medical practice with hybrid opportunities


• Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm EST


• PTO: 10 weeks


• Additional Details: No on-call, evening, or weekend coverage responsibilities


• Primary Responsibilities:




• 
  

  Interpret 30–40 screening mammograms or 10–15 diagnostic mammograms per day OR

  
  


• 
  

  Perform light interventional procedures, including PICC line and port placements/removals, as well as image-guided fluoroscopy

  
  


• 
  

  Provide real-time patient consultations

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read general studies (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT preferred)

  
  

Compensation

• Base Salary: Starting at $400,000

Desired Professional Skills & Experience 

• Must be ABR or AOBR board-certified


• Fellowship training in breast imaging is preferred, but not required

The base salary for the position is $400,000 / year. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as productivity, qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
