The Role:

This is a full-time (40 hours), on-site role at a high-rise cooperative building. The Community Manager will be expected to work at their assigned building and will report to the Board of Directors for their specific property. Management of the cooperative includes working with Board Members on supervision of all employees/vendors, resident/member relations, and coordination of professional services, administration, administration of maintenance and operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Commute to and from assigned building on a daily basis (40 hours per week).
• Manage building vendors and staff.
• Respond to owner and board calls and follow up.
• Contact & coordinate vendors to bid out projects, oversee and manage projects through completion.
• Review & approve payables as directed for the Cooperative.
• Coordinate ongoing and future projects.
• Prepare for and attend board meetings and report management activities.
• Develop budget for the Cooperative.
• Review financials for accuracy.
• Inspect building and vendor work.
• Create maintenance plans for building.
• Create capital improvement budget and reserve budget.

What You Bring:

• CAM license (required)
• CMCA (preferred, but not required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer and tech skills: E-mail, Google Workspace (cloud), Word, Excel, etc.
• College degree, comparable work experience, and solid business skills required.
• Candidates must possess a solid understanding of:
  • Onsite condo association / cooperative management
  • Accounting
  • Building maintenance
