The ideal professional candidate is ready to lead, implement and deliver Human Resources programs, policies and services that enhance, support and sustain a high-performance environment. This position also consults with and supports executive management, middle management and workforce.
KEY JOB DUTIES
• Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, EEO compliance, and labor relations
• Supports management by providing advice and counsel to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters and staffing
• Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicates and enforces organization values
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Other duties may be assigned as the above is representative, but not all-inclusive of the required duties of this position
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive material maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
• Proficient with ADP Workforce Now HRIS system, MS Office and Outlook
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or 1-2 years of relevant experience with high school diploma or equivalent
