Job Description - On-Site RTM Patient Access Representative


Overview

We are seeking an onsite dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Therapy Patient Registration Representative to join our team in the Charleston, South Carolina area. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience experience with getting registered appropriately for remote therapy monitoring. 

The ideal candidate will possess Medical Assistant or Sleep Technologist experience, accurate data entry skills and enjoys working with patients with compassion. Must also be willing to travel between clinics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following duties:

1. Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process for remote therapy registration.

2. Provide information regarding RTM protocol and procedures to patients.

3. Enter patient information accurately when setting them up in the RTM database. 

4. Communication with the client's staff and your supervisor as needed for customer support and patient concerns. 

5. Maintain strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

6. Conducts self in accordance with criteria contained in the IncreMedical/MedAdept Employee Handbook.

7. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.


Requirements

  

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal including telephone and business etiquette). 
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient service and support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact well with patients, clients, referrers, co-workers and supervisors. 
  • General computer skills with the knowledge and ability to use various digital tools and technologies to complete job tasks efficiently and effectively. These skills include the ability to use a computer, navigate the internet and use common software applications such as Microsoft Office.

Compliance:

Required to comply with HIPAA, federal, state, local, professional, IncreMedical/MedAdept policies, etc. as well as any outside accrediting agency requirements. 

Physical and Sensory Demands:

Good general health and stress coping ability. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all constituents (patients, clients, peers, and other healthcare team members) as needed.
