Summary/Objective:
The Onsite Staffing & Associate Relations Leader is responsible for interacting with and supporting MAU personnel onsite and regularly engaging the customer to ensure key performance indicators are met. They are responsible for processing work orders from customers, recruiting, screening, orienting, and hiring personnel to work order specifications. This role involves managing HR functions, with a particular focus on payroll, performance counseling, attendance tracking, ensuring safe work environments, and ensuring legal compliance in hiring and firing processes.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer operations supervision.
- Maintain applicant flow through the development of recruiting sources, processing of candidates within the applicant tracking system, and collaborating with Recruitment Marketing for job ad placement and marketing as necessary.
- Regularly review work orders and interact with customers.
- Pre-screen, interview, and hire Associates.
- Consistently orient/on-board new associates to standards established for the customer.
- Administer company policies and procedures.
- Process, verify, and maintain employee documentation, including absences, investigations, performance reports, and termination details.
- Lead incident investigations, ensuring proper distribution of information, adherence to case management techniques, and communication of corrective actions.
- Enter incident information into ICI and complete the four key elements of investigations.
- Conduct confidential personnel investigations as needed.
- Ensure adherence to MAU Personal Conduct Rules and administer employee counseling according to the MAU Open Door Policy.
- Complete accident reports and on-site investigations within 24 hours, and counsel employees for safety violations.
- Sustain a culture of accountability for uniform, PPE, and work task process compliance.
- Notify employees when their assignments are being terminated or completed.
- Monitor and audit timekeeping systems and time records.
- Identify opportunities for improving and streamlining work processes.
- Support the MAU Touch Program by completing associate checks as scheduled.
- Perform safety audits via ICI, BBS, and PIT Observations.
- Act as a liaison between associates and Department/Operations Leaders.
- Notify client supervisors of any employee absences and ensure timely communication.
- Facilitate daily team meetings.
- Set up new pay and bill rates with management approval within the system.
- Process merit, tenure, or incentive increases.
- Communicate and resolve with customers any invoice non-payment issues.
- Attend unemployment and workers’ compensation hearings as necessary.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (communications, business management, human resources) OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of human resources/employee relations experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Education and Experience:
- HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP)
- Experience working with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

Work Environment or Working Conditions
The working conditions and environments are created by our customers’ facilities both in administrative areas and manufacturing environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Customer sites sometimes include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non-temperature-controlled environments to GMP clean room required.
