Ready for a career glow up? As Senior Manager, Store Design, you'll be leading the creation of beautiful, innovative retail experiences that bring the Sephora brand to life. The work you do will impact beauty, as you design and deliver stores in some of the most coveted real estate in North America, keeping client experience at the forefront of every decision. You'll manage a team of talented Store Designers and Design Managers that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about delivering on-brand, functional, and cost-effective stores that elevate the overall quality of the Sephora experience.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Store Designers while maintaining oversight of project quality, schedules, and design standards across all store developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Real Estate, Retail Operations, and Merchandising to solve complex design challenges and ensure stores meet cost, operational, and schedule requirements
- Manage relationships with third-party architects and engineers, ensuring all drawings meet Sephora design standards from initial planning through construction
- Drive process improvements and strategic initiatives, providing industry insights and fresh perspectives to continually enhance store design delivery and team efficiencies
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in Retail Architecture, Retail Design, or similar field, with 8+ years leading and managing high-performing teams
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture with strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and visualization tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or 3DS MAX)
- Exceptional leadership and strategic agility with proven ability to navigate complex situations, build strong partnerships across all levels, and expertly communicate the Sephora brand point of view to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong project management skills with a problem-solving mindset, high initiative, and passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment #LI-SR1
What You’ll Get:
The annual base salary range for this position is $155,975.00 - $174,325.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
