Job Description Summary

Organizational Summary:

The Department of Marketing at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. Applications from behavioral, quantitative, and strategy researchers are welcome. Preference will be given to candidates who are coming in with some experience at the assistant professor level or at the associate professor level. Successful applicants will be expected to continue to conduct impactful and inspirational research, deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate, MBA, M.S., and PhD students and participate in service activities for the department, school and/or university. The rank and tenure status are dependent on the candidate's qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates should have a PhD. and an established record of research excellence commensurate with experience. Applicants are also expected to provide evidence of excellent teaching skills, including the ability to incorporate the latest insights from research and practice into existing and new courses.
