Open Rank, Clinical Faculty - Surgery, Transplant Lung

Job Description 

The position of Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery requires an M.D. degree and must be Board Certified or foreign equivalent. He or She must possess a Florida Medical License and a DEA certificate.  

This individual will be responsible for the clinical care in all aspects of lung transplant including pre-transplant evaluation and post transplant care. 

He or she will be involved in resident supervision at the University of Miami/ Jackson memorial Medical Center. In addition, this position may require teaching of students in both junior and senior elective programs as sponsored by this Division within the student’s surgical experience. Attendance and supervision at the outpatient clinic may be . 

This individual will also be responsible for pursuing research protocols to fund experiments under his supervision.
