Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Morrisville, VT
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Rotating
Pay: $2490/week
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator RN to join our team. The Circulator RN will manage patient care in the operating room, ensuring safety, coordination, and smooth workflow before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring informed consent and safety protocols are followed.
Serve as the patient advocate in the OR, monitoring safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Coordinate and manage surgical equipment, supplies, and sterile technique.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to support optimal outcomes.
Document all intraoperative care, assessments, and interventions accurately.
Provide post-procedure care and support during patient transfer and recovery.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in VT
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
BLS and ACLS certifications, COVID vaccine, TB test
Minimum 1–2 years of operating room nursing experience
