Operating Room Coordinator - Coast - Surgery Center

Essential Functions

Delegates, supervises, and evaluates the activities of other team members while simultaneously executing immediate directives and interventions in urgent or emergent situations. Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms. Contributes to the daily efficient performance of the department. Serves as the communication liaison to family and members of the operating team. Demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings. Develops monthly work and call schedules for staff if delegated by patient care supervisor. Arranges Operating Room schedule in accordance with the needs of the surgeon and patients. 

Required Education/Experience  

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program


• Must possess a valid South Carolina or compact (multi-state) RN license.


• Active Basic Life Support certification, as well as additional certifications per unit requirements
