Operation Manager

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient business operations
• Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock levels at all times
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely and accurate ordering of products
• Monitor sales trends, analyze data, and make recommendations to improve sales and profitability
• Train, mentor, and motivate store staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
• Manage and schedule staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Handle customer complaints and resolve any operational issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement promotional activities and events to drive sales
• Partner with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
• Report directly to the store owner and provide regular updates on store operations and performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the outdoor industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, and retail operations
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on sales trends
• Passion for the outdoors and knowledge of outdoor equipment and apparel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
