Operations Analyst (entry level)

Position Overview

We are seeking a sharp, highly motivated Operations Analyst to join our growing team. This is not a traditional, slow-paced administrative role. As an Operations Analyst, you will be the engine behind our core business, directly supporting the execution and delivery of our college counseling and academic service offerings.

This position sits at the intersection of client services, logistics, and business strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Service Delivery Support: Coordinate the day-to-day logistics of our college counseling and academic programs, ensuring seamless execution and an elite experience for students and families.
• Process Optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies and help build, refine, and maintain scalable internal workflows.
• Data & Tracking: Monitor student progress timelines, manage service delivery metrics, and ensure compliance with internal benchmarks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with leadership, consultants, and advisors to allocate resources, manage bandwidth, and solve real-time operational bottlenecks.
• Client Relations: Act as a reliable point of contact for operational or scheduling inquiries, providing professional, high-touch support.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education:  Bachelor’s degree from a Top 50 university required.
• Industry Interest: A genuine interest in the college preparation, admissions, or academic consulting industry. Prior internship or work experience in the college prep space is highly preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical mindset; you don’t just spot a problem; you actively look for a way to build a process to fix it.
• Communication: Flawless written and verbal communication skills with the polish required to interact with high-achieving students and families.
• Adaptability: A strong "no task too small, no challenge too big" attitude. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can pivot quickly as business needs evolve.
• Tech-Savvy: High proficiency with modern workplace tools (e.g., CRMs, project management software, Google Workspace/Excel).
