Operations Analyst - Rapid Progression

We are hiring an Operations Analyst for one of our clients in Trenton, NJ.

Job Description:

• Performs the analysis and evaluation of internal operations, business practices, and techniques for the Division of Disaster Recovery and Mitigation (DRM) to determine optimal business solutions.
• Develops training materials and conducts training sessions.
• Participates in administrative planning and assists in introducing new techniques/methods to improve the division.
• Formulates and recommends policies and procedures.
• Required to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information system used by the agency, office, or related units.
• Required to create and update Word, Excel, PDF, Adobe, and PowerPoint documents.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Skills required:

• Knowledge of provisions of policy guidance/assistance in preparation of schedules outlining essential steps to be taken in installation and/or conversion to data processing systems
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply basic laws/regulations
• Ability to review operating procedures and provide advice/assistance to state department officials on matters pertaining to operating requirements, fiscal procedures, and budget requests
• Ability to maintain records and files.

Work hours:

• 9am 5pm
• Lunch Break: 1 hour (unpaid).
