RSC2 is currently looking for an Operations Analyst, Sr to join our growing team in Aberdeen, MD!   

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis and evaluation of operational processes and systems for the PD Aerostats program, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for optimization.
• Develop and maintain complex models and simulations to analyze and predict operational performance, including forecasting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and testing, to identify and resolve operational issues and improve overall program efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data, including metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement operational metrics and benchmarks to measure program performance, including tracking and reporting on progress towards goals and objectives.
• Provide expert guidance and oversight to junior analysts, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and expertise to perform their jobs effectively.
• Participate in the development of operational plans and strategies, including the creation of operational concepts, doctrines, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning to identify and address potential operational risks and issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including industry, academia, and government agencies, to stay informed about emerging trends and technologies, and to identify opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
• Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, including the development and implementation of new processes, procedures, and systems to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and deliver briefings, reports, and other presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders on operational analysis and recommendations, including providing expert testimony and advice on operational matters.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ten (10) or more years in experience in managing a military or civilian operations setting.
• BA/BS or higher.
• Shall have a top secret (TS) clearance with the ability to obtain sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• An additional 8 years experience in a related field may be substituted for education. A Masters degree or higher may be substituted for 4 years of experience as long as their degree is in a related field.
