Operations Assistant

SUMMARY:

Assists the Production Management Team by providing support with general office duties. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Creating and maintaining electronic manufacturing files in MS Office.
2. Attends cross-functional production meetings providing input on production status for all manufacturing departments.
3. Organizes, prints, reviews, and distributes work order job packets to the manufacturing department supervisors.
4. Collect and review completed job packets assuring accuracy of the documentation.
5. Acts as liaison between manufacturing and Supply Chain/ Scheduling.
6. Coordinates scrap tubing pickup with outside vendors.
7. Coordinates and maintains stock of cleanroom gowns.
8. Attends and participates in weekly change control meetings.
9. Utilizes office equipment to perform general office duties such as data entry, faxing, copying, scanning, and filing.
10. Makes recommendations for process improvement.
11. Maintains inventory of office and manufacturing supplies.
12. Assists with the physical count and data entry of monthly inventory.
13. Coordinates the sale and removal of scrap tubing and hose.
14. Relays all messages and company news to manufacturing employees.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• A working knowledge of Windows-based PC including the operation, and functional uses

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
