Maple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to improving our community’s health by making quality comprehensive healthcare accessible to all. The Operations Assistant provides administrative support for the Site Assistant Director (AD) to ensure that site operations are running smoothly. This individual will support the mission and values of (MCHCC) through their organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides operational support to ADs by performing administrative projects and daily tasks
Maintains and works within electronic medical record and other tools to assist with daily operations
Provides administrative support for meetings as needed
Maintains and updates various clinical and operational tracking lists
Assists in orientation process for new employees, students and visitors
Helps with supply inventory and stocking at site, collaborating with others to ensure supplies are purchased
Tracks budgeting and financial responsibilities for the site in collaboration with AD
Serves as a member of the the document management team
Other duties that support our shared work, as assigned
Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills, in line with MCHCC’s mission and values
Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities:
Computer proficiency required (word processing, spreadsheets, data management, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Personal transportation preferred
Detail-oriented
Self-motivated and efficient
Able to work individually and collaboratively
Flexible in a changing environment
Willing to learn
Education and Experience:
Experience in a cross-cultural setting
Associate degree required
Experience with administrative support preferred
Requirements:
Ability to perform prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
